The First Nations Fisheries Council of British Columbia works to implement the BC First Nations Fisheries Action Plan, a foundation for First Nations to seek increasing shares in the BC fishery and greater involvement in fisheries management and decision making. They work with BC First Nations to protect, reconcile and advance Aboriginal Title and Rights and Treaty Rights related to the health and protection of fish and aquatic resources and access for food, social, cultural and economic purposes. FNFC already had a website I started this project but they just needed an update and redesign. FNFC had a designer for this project so I was a approached as the WordPress Expert to code the site.
The First Nations Fisheries Council was custom coded so it could load fast and was easy to update and use. It was created with a custom job posting module and a custom events calendar.
